Lasagne
Bolognese sauce
2 slices of smoked bacon (jamie says organic)
2 med onions
2 cloves garlic
2 carrots
2 celery stalks
olive oil
2 heaped teaspoons dried oregano
1 pound beef/ pork (or mix)
2 x 14 oz diced tomatoes
sea salt
fresh ground black pepper
2 oz parmesan cheese
Lasagne
8 oz dried egg lasagne sheets
2 cups creme fraiche or 2 cups thick sour cream
4 oz parmesan cheese
1 large tomato
Slice bacon. peel and finely chop onions garlic carrots and celery. Cook on high heat cook your bacon and oregano until the bacon is golden and the vegetables and stir every 30 sec. until softened. stir in the ground meat and tomatoes, add a can of water to the pan add basil bring to a boil and simmer for 45 min.
Remove from heat and add your 2 oz parmesan cheese taste sauce and season with more salt or pepper.
layer balognese sauce then follow with lasagne sheets- then your sour cream with parmesan on top more balognese - lasagne sheets finish with the rest of your sour cram and parmesan cheese Top with sliced tomatoes and fresh basil cover and cook for 20 min remove the cover and cook another 35 min until the lasagne is bubbling.
